Why “Purple haze”? “Purple Haze” is a rare phenomena that happens after a volcanic eruption. Fine volcanic aerosols in the stratosphere scatter blue light, which produces a purple hue when the sun is setting. But volcanos aren’t the only ones that can cause the sky to turn purple. Smog from man-made pollution is reported to have generated a similar phenomenon in multiple places around the globe. We strive to raise awareness and combat this. In manufacturing our composites, we use only renewable energy and create minimal waste. “Purple Haze” carbon fiber sheets are lightweight, possess high stiffness and durability as well as corrosion resistance. The two-tone purple color and carbon fiber produce a shimmer effect, which further adds to the uniqueness of this composite’s look.
